This registry aims to be a platform for emission reduction projects to be showcased on a regional scale. With a thriving agriculture sector and an up and coming industrial sector, Egypt can play a pivotal role in SDG-alligned regional decarbonisation.

Local offtakers can now view with complete transparency all emission reduction projects in Egypt, allowing them to engage with project developers to explore offtake and investment opportunties based on their themes of interest and engage directly with project developers.

International offtakers can now engage with carbon projects in Egypt under the direct supervision of the Financial Regulatory Authority of Egypt, with the laws and regulations of financial markets being applied to carbon transaction via Prime Minister Decree.
